Goodbye Nissa

We sure are going to miss you. I'm shocked you died so young. I hope
you are playing ball in doggie heaven. At least your last day was
awesome with Nik. Molly is really going to miss you

Guest room

My guest room is finally habitable by guests! I've been working on it

all this week. It's not finished yet. I still need to to get some

additional sheers for the curtains and the black and white photography

I'm saving for. This room is sort of a beast. I should never have put up the

Elfa shelves before I bought the rest of the furniture. Because of the

I placed them on the wall and their size it created a lot of wasted

space and made the 3 hours of playing tetris in the room with the

couch and bookshelves not very much fun.

But at least I hung the curtain rod straight!

Molly's Birthday

I can't believe it's been 5 years since I adopted Molly. It was love at first sight when I entered the SPCA as a volunteer. I was to transport her to an adoption event at Balboa Park.

The day we met

I was the one who adopted her!!

So five years later, here we are. Both of us with a few extra pounds.

I had a little party for her on our five year adoption anniversary. I got a "paw"ty platter from My Best Friend's Pet Bakery (www.mybestfriendpettreats.com/) and invited a few friends to celebrate on the patio at a local coffee house. It was a really nice get together and the dogs had about a million treats. They even kept the party hats on long enough to take some photos!
