My Bucket List

I recently watched the movie The Bucket List and first of all I have to say it wasn't exactly what I thought it would be, although it was very good and I don't even like Jack Nickleson. But I've been hearing all this talk about bucket lists since the movie came out and have been starting one in my my head. It's still a work in progress and some items I have already crossed off in my 33 years. But it's still kind of a sad/short list for an entire list of would-be life time achievements.

• Run a half marathon
• Visit Ireland
• Raise a child
• Dance a solo on stage
• Teach seniors hula
• Swim with manta rays
• Do something truly selfless
• Volunteer with elephants
• Attend Merrie Monarch in Hawaii
• Go to Bonaroo
• Visit Tahiti
• Visit Hearst Castle

Some I've already checked off:

• Make someone's day
• Bungee jump ( never need to do that again)
• Run Bay to Breakers in San Francisco (actually I think we walked)
• Travel by myself
• Graduate from college
• Make my parents proud

Headboard!!

My QVC headboard arrived a couple weeks ago and I finally installed it. Good thing it wasn't heavy!

I love it for the price I paid.

I could even raise it a little bit. These photos really aren't the best but I'm pretty happy with it.

Lost Film Found

I loved this story when I first watched the video.  A guy finds a canister of black and white film while cross country skiing after a blizzard in NYC. He decides to find the owners and return the film.




 A months later he did.



I love that he decided to go full circle and create his own lost film.

Headboard find!

I've been wanting a padded/upholstered headboard forever now and have been casually looking. I got inspired again when I saw that Urban Outfitters online had furniture and a headboard I loved.

I went home and measured and it would block a big portion of my only bedroom window directly above my bed. So the search continued.

And I found this one I liked on target.com for only $219.99.

All the reviews on target.com were great. But I kept searching.
And low and behold I found the same headboard on QVC.com for less money! $175.58 and free shipping, SOLD!

It's suppossedly very easy to put together. We shall see!
